Kelly Cook graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and was certified to practice law in the State of Texas in 2015. In law school he focused on civil and business matters through internships involving civil plaintiffs and trademarks, and through coursework in business matters and Intellectual Property.
Before founding Cook Nguyen & Ressler, he worked for a Dallas area general practice firm where he managed cases from open to close involving a range of areas, including civil, family, criminal, immigration, guardianship, and wills. Kelly found success both in and out of the courtroom, winning both jury and non jury trials; negotiating business sales, divorces, and civil settlements; and drafting countless civil and legal documents.
Today Kelly focuses once more on civil and business matters. As the son, brother, nephew, and cousin to many small business owners, he is passionate about helping new ventures avoid common pitfalls so they can compete based on their merit. Kelly also represents both plaintiffs and defendants to civil matters, seeking justice and success for all of his clients.
