Phan attended the University of Texas at Austin and in May of 2007 received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he was on the Board of Editors and later became the Editor-in-Chief for the Oklahoma Journal of Law and Technology. While attending law school he freelanced legal research and writing legal assistant for numerous Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, and Louisiana law firms.
Phan’s area of focus is primarily on immigration, family, and criminal law and has represented numerous clients before the Dallas Immigration Court, USCIS, and the Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, and Collin County Courts at Law.
Born in Vietnam, Phan and his family immigrated to the United States in 1990 and has himself been through the immigration process. He understands and can empathize with what his clients are going through and fights hard for them. This personal connection between his own experience and his clients fuels his work.
